Safety is our highest priority, and every reclaimed hotel bar passes through a rigorous three-step restoration process before it ever reaches you. We begin by soaking each bar in warm water and hand-emulsifying it with gloved hands, then cure it for a full 24 hours so it hardens completely. The outer surface is carefully scraped away, returning the soap to a like-new state. As a final safeguard, every batch is melted at temperatures exceeding 60°C, more than enough to eliminate any lingering bacteria.

Our model is built around giving back, so half of every batch we produce is delivered free of charge to outreach communities across the GTA. The remaining half is sold through our online shop, and the profits from those sales are reinvested directly into the very same communities we serve.

Every bar begins its second life thanks to our sponsors, primarily local hotels, motels, inns, and hostels throughout the GTA, who entrust us with the soap they would otherwise discard.

Profits are donated to charity; the remainder covers our operating costs. We are not a registered charity, so purchases are not tax-deductible.

We ship across Canada via Canada Post. Your exact shipping cost is calculated live at checkout from your address, and you choose the service (Regular, Expedited, or Xpresspost).

Wherever possible, we stay close to nature, so every ingredient is naturally sourced, with the sole exception of the essential oils we use for fragrance. Even our packaging reflects this ethos: each bar is wrapped in recycled kraft paper, reinforcing Relavco's commitment to a cleaner tomorrow.
