Privacy Policy
How Relavco collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Last updated · June 24, 2026
Relavco (“Relavco,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and safeguard it, and the choices you have. It applies to relavco.ca and any order or enquiry you make through it.
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy law.
1. Information you provide to us
When you place an order, contact us, or arrange a pickup, you may give us:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your shipping address and, for local pickup, your chosen pickup date and time
- Order details, such as the products you buy and any add-a-donation amount
- Messages and enquiries you send through our contact form
You do not need to create an account to shop with us.
2. Payment information
All payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. Your full card number and security code are entered directly with Stripe and are never seen or stored on Relavco’s servers. We receive only the limited information needed to confirm your payment, such as a confirmation, the amount, and the card brand and last four digits. Stripe’s handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view, for security and to keep the site running reliably.
We store your shopping cart in your browser’s local storage so it persists between visits; this stays on your device. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, including arranging shipping or pickup
- Send you transactional messages such as order confirmations and notifications
- Respond to your questions and partnership, sponsorship, or volunteer enquiries
- Prevent fraud and keep our site and customers secure
- Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
- Maintain and improve our website and service
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run Relavco, and only as needed to provide our service:
- Stripe — to process payments
- Canada Post — to calculate shipping rates and deliver your order
- Resend — to send order and enquiry emails
- Neon and Vercel — to host our database and website
These providers may process or store data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States, and are required to protect it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Contact-form enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
7. Your privacy rights
Under PIPEDA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, and to withdraw your consent to our use of it (which may mean we can no longer fulfil an order). To make a request, email us at Relavco@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. How we protect your information
We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
9. Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage necessary for the website to work, such as keeping your cart and securing checkout. We do not use cookies for advertising. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not function correctly if you do.
10. Children’s privacy
Relavco is intended for customers who are the age of majority in their province or territory. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
Our site may link to third-party sites, such as our Instagram page or our payment provider. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
13. Contact us
If you have questions or concerns about your privacy or this policy, contact us at Relavco@gmail.com or +1 (647) 863-9023. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
